Last adware tip for February

Discover PC has rebooted sometime during full system virus scan. Check log and discover four virus removals. Continue locating adware. Disable "javabc32.exe" and discover it is being replaced by "mspmspsv.exe" "msqn.exe" and "sysey.exe"; attempt to remove, but they are locked by the system. Disconnect network and use "Move on Boot" to remove problem files. Reset Internet Explorer to defaults. Correct share permissions and remove "C:" share. Load updated video driver. Norton updates are able to run now. Delete a few suspicious shortcuts. Discuss findings with customer. Install FireFox browser to help prevent future adware infestation.
