Repair Internet Explorer versions 5 and 6

Enter the following command under "file .. run" or in a dos window:

rundll32 setupwbv.dll,IE5Maintenance

Choose "Repair" and follow through rebooting to finish the repair. If this process doesn't work, check for adware and viruses. Also, you may try downloading the Internet Explorer installation program "ie6setup.exe" to reinstall the software completely.
