Recovery console running from the hard drive belched out:
0x7B Inaccessible_Boot_Device
Recovery console running from CD tickled my funny bone when it said it couldn't find the hard drive! Apparently, I need drivers for the Compaq Smart Array 5i Controller.
Luckily, my good ole' buddy Winternals ERD Commander didn't complain. Heck, it even alerted and recovered a damaged registry hive. C:\Winnt\System32\Config\System
Turns out, the system drive was out of free space which caused some trouble. Delete works using Winternals tool, but is painfully slow. After clearing a few hundred meg of free space, boot normally and purge the remaining temp files to reclaim 5.8Gig free space.
