Display session fails to connect

If your AS/400 Client Access display session opens, but only shows a black screen without the cursor flashing, try this:
  • Click Communication on the menu bar
  • Click Connect
  • If this works, go back and click Autoconnect to have the session connect automatically when opened.

Usually, autoconnect is enabled by default, but it can get turned off (somehow) and ends up costing a service call.
