Classic Win98 installation trick

If you ever find yourself installing/reinstalling Windows 98, and receive the message You already have an operating system installed rename the following four files and try again:

Win.com – user.exe – gdi.exe – kernel32.dll

Look in the Windows folder for all but one, it will be under system.

I know '98 is old, but this is info is requested from time to time.
