Unsolved mystery - Windows XP Home suddenly lost all it's users. The welcome screen didn't display any names at all. Hitting Ctrl+Alt+Del brought up the standard login prompt, but no user/password combination would work. Tried hacking the administrator password, but my Linux password reset tool couldn't locate any users at all! Luckily, this wasn't the primary system and a factory reload was the easy fix.
